We’ve always known them as scarecrows but now we’ve renamed them “Estimaocells” (lovebirds), a declaration of love for nature! The name change is a statement of intent. Is it possible to change the fears of birds ab wildlife towards humans? If in the past the presence of people, including straw people, has always scared away wildlife, why not reverse this logic?
Therefore, we will build mini-estimaocells with various tasks: putting straw in clothes, painting nest boxes, painting clothes,… in collaboration with our friens of Caseta de l’Òliba.
