Nils Van Duivendijk is the main author of the guide written in Dutch, Marcel Gil has revised the Spanish translation, James Lidster the English translation and Marc Guyt, from AGAMI, participated in the photographic part with their images.
This will be a talk between the authors and translators, in Spanish and English, of the book that has come to become an essential reference for bird identification in Europe. During the conference, open to public participation, the contents and formats of the book will be briefly presented, to then delve into the motivations of the authors to successfully achieve a project of this magnitude and more technical aspects, such as the limits of bird identification in Europe or the revolution represented by genetics and how it is transferred to identification in the field. In short, a conversation between people passionate about identification, where you are all invited.
