L’Ampolla is a municipality in the Baix Ebre region. Its history is closely linked to fishing and maritime traffic, but also to nature. Within the municipality is the Bassa de les Olles, one of the most characteristic ecosystems of the Ebro Delta. Which hosts a large nesting population of waterfowl, such as flamingos, mallards, white herons, kingfishers and mallards, as well as a great wealth of plants. The city council is working to preserve this precious natural environment.
