The Trinitat salt lakes are historic facilities in the Delta de l’Ebre, where, in addition to producing salt, there are some of the most important bird colonies in Catalonia and Spain. Locality where they raise flamingos, Corsican gulls, common tern, etc. all thanks to the lack of predators and the high biomass productivity offered by evaporation lagoons.
