She has worked on conservation projects in Ireland, Cape Verde, the Canary Islands, and New Zealand, focusing on wildlife monitoring and habitat management.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-41559\" src=\"https:\/\/deltabirdingfestival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/mariona-sarda-1.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"281\" \/>\n<p>During her talk, she will introduce Lady\u2019s Island Lake, a shallow brackish coastal lagoon of great ecological importance located in southeast Wexford, Ireland.
