Joan-Carles Abella, from the Som Aguait association, will present the eagle conservation project, while Miquel Torres, from Familia Torres, will share further examples of how the wine and viticulture sector can contribute to the conservation of birds and nature. Professor Joan Real, from the University of Barcelona, will explain the current status of the species in Catalonia and the main threats it faces.\u00a0 Jordi Vidal, winegrower and co-founder of La Conreria winery, will explain the characteristics of the Cal Sambori vineyards (owned by the Rocamora family) and the production of \u201cL\u2019\u00c1liga\u201d wine. The event will conclude with closing remarks by Jordi Sargatal, Secretary for Ecological Transition of the Government of Catalonia.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-42319\" src=\"https:\/\/deltabirdingfestival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GERARD-ROCAMORA.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"505\" height=\"284\" \/>\n<p>Following a question-and-answer session, there will be a wine tasting, and those who wish to support the eagle conservation project will be able to purchase a few bottles of the wine.
