Pon\u00e7 will close the Delta Birding Festival\u2019s conference programme with this closing presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the coming years, Catalonia will have new Natural Parks that are already undergoing the formal designation process, including Muntanyes de Prades, Albera and Serra del Montsec, with the aim of ensuring greater protection and management of nature and biodiversity across the region. In addition, several Natural Parks are currently drafting their Natural Environment and Landscape Protection Plans, which will serve as the roadmap for the management of these Specially Protected Natural Areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pon\u00e7 will present these new projects led by the Directorate-General for Environmental Policies and Natural Heritage of the Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition of the Government of Catalonia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pon\u00e7 Feliu is currently Director of the Aiguamolls de l\u2019Empord\u00e0 Natural Park and was Director of Cap de Creus Natural Park for six years.
