The Audouin’s Gull <\/strong>(Larus audouinii<\/em>) is an endemic species to the Mediterranean and listed as ‘vulnerable’ in the red book of birds of Spain. Traditionally nests on rocky islands and islets that provide protection against land predators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ricard Guti\u00e9rrez<\/a><\/strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0biologist of the Marine Fauna Rescue of the Generalitat de Catalunya,\u00a0will talk about, in his conference at the festival, how this species has begun to colonize the vertical axis and why in recent years, some pairs of Audouin’s seagulls are beginning to occupy vertical spaces in buildings in towns and cities, a fact that is still quite atypical and that gives us an idea of \u200b\u200bthe degree of adaptability that this species presents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
