{"id":41237,"date":"2026-06-30T12:16:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T10:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deltabirdingfestival.com\/previousedition\/dbf-2025-copy\/"},"modified":"2026-07-01T17:32:46","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T15:32:46","slug":"dbf-2025-copy","status":"publish","type":"previousedition","link":"https:\/\/deltabirdingfestival.com\/en\/previousedition\/dbf-2025-copy\/","title":{"rendered":"DBF 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Conservation project for the European roller and steppe birds in the Alt Camp drylands<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project was created in response to the decline of the European roller, the little owl, the lesser short-toed lark and the little bustard in one of the last Mediterranean agricultural landscapes with high biodiversity in the Camp de Tarragona region. Some of the threats faced by these species include agricultural intensification, the use of pesticides, the disappearance of field margins and old trees, the lack of natural cavities for nesting, landscape fragmentation and the effects of climate change.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-41243\" src=\"https:\/\/deltabirdingfestival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gaig-blau-especie.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/>\n<p>Since 2015, GEPEC-EdC has been carrying out applied conservation actions based on the installation of nest boxes, the scientific monitoring of populations, and collaboration with farmers, landowners, volunteers, scientists and conservation organisations.
