Marc Vilahur is the Director General for Environmental Policies and Natural Heritage, and will open the Delta Birding Festival with this first conference, organised by the Government of Catalonia.
In recent years, the Government of Catalonia’s biodiversity conservation policies have undergone a transformation aimed at addressing the major challenges involved in protecting species, habitats and ecological processes, and ensuring their favourable conservation status. This presentation will explore this change in approach, as well as the methods and tools used to drive this transformation. It will also provide an overview of the upcoming Species Recovery and Conservation Plans for Catalonia.
