Conservation Project 2022

– Ecological recovery of Ullals de Panxa –

In the Ebro Delta, wetlands from freshwater springs are one of the singular, and often most affected, habitats. Due to several disturbances and the fragile status of this habitat, species found there are often very scarce or threatened.

Ullals de Panxa is one of the wetlands in the Ebro delta that is in this situation. For this reasons, in this edition, the festival wants to collaborate with the project of ecological restoration of this space relevant to the species.

Among the actions for biodiversity improvement, specially avifauna, the main goal is monitoring birds species that visit Ullals. As well as, to apply support measures on western marsh harrier (Circus aeruginosus) populations, a characteristic species of the wetlands and whose populations, years ago, has suffered a significantly decline.

Help us to recovery Ullals de Panxa! Remember that buying your festival ticket will help us to make it possible!
