Gerard Carbonell is a conservation biologist and photographer, specializing in creating images that foster understanding and protection of the natural world. His work focuses on raising awareness about the importance of biodiversity and highlighting the efforts of organizations and communities dedicated to its preservation. He is an OM SYSTEM ambassador, an associate member of the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP), and serves on the board of the Catalan Herpetological Society. His photography aims to inspire a deeper connection between people and nature.
During his talk, he will present a visual and personal journey shaped by his commitment to nature conservation. He will share experiences from projects in Central Africa and reflect on the power of photography to raise awareness, connect people, and drive change.
