Presentación de la Crossbill Nature Guide “Spanish Pyrenees”

Kees Woutersen is an ornithologist and writer originally from the Netherlands and based in Huesca, Spain. He has been involved in birdwatching tourism for 22 years and believes that education is the best way to promote nature conservation.

Crossbill Guides Foundation is a Dutch foundation dedicated to publishing specialised guides to Europe’s best natural areas. It invites the public to discover, learn about and appreciate European biodiversity.

The guides, published in English, Dutch and German, include chapters on landscape, flora and fauna, geology, climate and conservation. The second part consists of practical routes describing what can be observed and explaining why species live in these particular places. A unique concept has been developed with the aim of engaging readers in conservation.
