DELTA BIRDING FESTIVAL

An annual meeting point for ornithologists and nature lovers in such a privileged location as the Parc Natural del Delta de l'Ebre.

The Delta Birding Festival is the only ornithological festival held in Catalonia.

It takes place in the Ebro Delta, at the MónNatura Delta de l’Ebre facilities. A space managed by Fundació Catalunya la Pedrera.

It is celebrated at the end of September, coinciding with the migration season of many species of birds.

CONSERVATION PROJECT 2024:

Sponsor a Little Owl Roof Tile

This 10th edition of the Delta Birding Festival will allocate the profit obtained from the sale of tickets to the "Apadrina una Teula Mussolera" project, or as a translation, "Sponsor a Little Owl Roof Tile", a proposal to improve the breeding points of the little owl (Athene noctua).

With the economical aid provided by the sale of Delta Birding Festival tickets, the creation of this mold and the production of 80 roof tiles will be financed, a project of the Sterna Nature Group together with the Osona Naturalist Group.

We look forward to a great attendance at the festival so that these shelters can be installed on the agricultural estates suitable for the reproduction of the little owl and thus accommodate many new generations of this species!
