Albert is a wildlife biologist and technician. He currently works at Minuartia on wildlife management work geared towards applied science, where he solves problems caused by wild animals, largely in the interaction between birds and aviation safety.
In his workshop, we will review the main elements that need to be taken into account in order to be able to identify the seagulls in Catalonia. The workshop will pay special attention to young and immature birds, how to know the different ages, the main characteristics that define the different plumages, the molting strategies and how to apply these aspects to the identification of the different species, both common and scarce, and those rare ones that can be observed with some regularity in Catalonia.
