Delta Hot Spots la Barra del Trabucador

Delta Hot Spots la Barra del Trabucador

At the end of the festival, you can go on several guided trips to unique places in the Delta and nearby areas: les Olles/el Goleró, l’Embut, Barra del Trabucador, el Violí/Bosc de la Comandanta and Finca de Bombita, which we call the Delta Hot Spots.

All trips will be guided by expert guides, many of them representatives of the ornithological teams that have participated in many ornithological marathons around the world.

Barra del Trabucador is a six-kilometer isthmus that connects the Ebro delta with la Punta de la Banya and is an ideal place to observe the birds present in the Alfacs bay. On this outing we will observe a wide variety of waders, such as terns, rock wagtails or shrimps, while in the calm waters of the Alfacs bay we will see several species of ducks, herons, flamingos, seagulls and terns.
