Closing conference – Els futurs Parcs Naturals de Catalunya i les ampliacions previstes

Ponç Feliu is the Director of Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park and was the Director of Cap de Creus Natural Park for six years. Ponç will close the series of talks at the Delta Birding Festival with this closing conference.

In the coming years, Catalonia will have new Natural Parks that are already undergoing the necessary procedures, including Muntanyes de Prades, l’Albera and Serra del Montsec, with the aim of ensuring even greater protection and management of nature and biodiversity in our region. In addition, several Natural Parks are currently drawing up their Natural Environment and Landscape Protection Plans, the roadmap for the management of these Specially Protected Natural Areas.

During this talk, he will present these new projects led by the Directorate-General for Environmental Policies and Natural Heritage of the Catalan Government’s Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition.
