Is It Possible to Give Sound a Colour?
Echoes of the North is a photographic exhibition that seeks to capture the voice of the North through images. A visual journey across the Arctic at its purest and most fragile, where visitors will discover its wildest and northernmost landscapes: from the endless white fjords of Svalbard, through the thawing tundra of mainland Norway, to the vibrant explosion of colour found in the Finnish taiga. Along the way, the voices of Arctic wildlife gradually change and fade with each passing image.

The exhibition is accompanied by a series of panels featuring short stories, curiosities, and fascinating facts, inviting visitors to discover each species, its relationship with people, and the ecosystem it calls home. The aim is to connect visitors not only with the art, but also with the story behind every creature. Because we cannot love what we do not know, nor protect what we do not love.

An exhibition created by Laura Núñez Bañuls and Francesco Rovedo, biologists, wildlife photographers, and nature communicators who share the natural world through both voice and image.
