Thiago Birds – Teaching with feathers (DBF Junior)

We introduce you the first Junior speaker, but not only that, but also the first underage and young speaker from Latin America: Thiago Rosero Lasso known in Colombia as “Thiago Birds”.

Thiago has always wondered why we don’t study birds from childhood and why we have to wait until we are adults to be able to talk about ornithology. This branch of biology is a very powerful tool for learning and that’s why Thiago wants to show us how the study of birds changed his life and that of many other children.

He will talk to us about ethno-ornithology and environmental education with the aim that his message reaches many people around the world to continue learning from the observation of our feathered friends.
