Eloïsa Matheu has created, for this edition of the Delta Birding Festival, some beautiful soundscapes that aim to cover the migration of birds from their Scandinavian breeding quarters, through the mountain passes of the Pyrenees, to the stopover areas in wetlands of the Catalan coast, until finally reaching the Bank d’Arguin on the Mauritanian coast, where most of them will spend the winter.
Bird migration is one of the greatest performances that nature offers us, but following it through its sounds is perhaps even more breathtaking. Eloïsa has prepared a show that combines sounds, images and spectrograms -the graphic representation of sounds-, in order to witness this journey that takes place twice a year, one from south to north and the other from north to south.
