Lynx ID challenge contest: pelagic birds of the great oceans

This year we start a new way of the classic bird identification contest sponsored by the prestigious publisher  LYNX Edicions, the LYNX ID CHALLENGE. Taking advantage of the participation of Rafa Armada, who will present us an extraordinary lecture on his oceanic voyages in search of pelagic birds, we have prepared with his collaboration, a new challenge for the most daring ornithologists who visit us.

At the end of his presentation, this contest will begin, consisting in correctly identify as many species as possible of a display of photographs of pelagic birds shot by Rafa. They do not necessarily have to be the same images or species that he would have presented in his lecture!

Contestants will have to write the names of the identified species on a form that will be given to them and those who have made the correct identification of a greater number of the species presented will receive as a prize a copy of the book “Seabirds. The New Identification Guide”, de Peter Harrison, recently published by LYNX Ediciones.
