In the context of the Ebro Delta, AGBAR is a particularly well-established company, since it manages, through Aquambiente, the Illa de Mar and Goleró purification wetlands, two spots that in recent years have become key points of pilgrimage for all fans of bird watching.

AGBAR, one more year, has collaborated in the festival, supporting the activities for all audiences that have been carried out in the two spaces mentioned above. These activities have been  ‘The Hidden Sounds of the Delta‘ by Eloïsa Matheu and two guided outings by Carles Carboneres and Manolo Sànchez included in the  ‘Delta Hotspots’.

In addition, in this edition,  AGBAR has sponsored the marquee where the photographic exhibition ‘MontPhoto, twenty-five years disseminating nature photography‘ has been exhibited, in which the 25 best images of this international photography contest have been displayed, which this year celebrates a quarter of a century of life.

In parallel to the Delta Birding Festival and within the framework of the Healthy Habits program,  AGBAR has organized, for its workers, an ornithological outing to visit the purification wetlands, and they have been provided tickets to enjoy the festival.

As you know, the DBF is a non-profit-making event and the entire proceeds from ticket sales go to a conservation project, in this case ‘The birdwatchers of the Daasanach tribe‘. That is why from the organization, we highly value the contribution made by companies such as AGBAR that allows financing the cost of both infrastructures and activities so that the amount collected for the conservation project is as high as possible.
