The Delta Photo Contest renews its image and, in this ninth edition, seeks to rediscover the photographer’s perspective by introducing two new categories: Conservation and Observation.
The first aims to tell the story of a bird through the submission of three images; a visual narrative that can range from the recovery of a threatened species to the monitoring of an individual within a local patch. The second category aims to highlight rarity, scarcity, habitat, behavior, or other unique characteristics of a bird, with the goal of celebrating ornithology anywhere in the world.
In this way, we invite all nature lovers—both amateur and professional photographers and ornithologists—who share the idea that cameras are a powerful tool for conservation and outreach in the protection of birds, to take part.
The rules will be available in April, and submissions will open in May!
