This eighth edition has undoubtedly been the edition where the maximum number of attendees at the festival has been reached with more than 3000 people during the three days. And the fact is that the Delta Birding Festival has become the event of reference among bird and nature lovers.
This year, visitors enjoyed more than 100 activities such as guided tours where adults and children had the opportunity to learn about different naturalistic themes, photo exhibitions such as the artist Xavi Bou sponsored by Torres winneries or the numerous workshops, debates and book signings by renowned authors.
Also, highlight the participation of more than 70 international and national lecturers have completed a luxury program with illustrators such as David Sibley and Killian Mullarney, nature photographers such as Xavi Bou, Ali Alieslam and Ignacio Yúfera and also experts such as Lukas Jenni, Stephen Baillie or Raffael Winkler.
In this edition the youngest naturalists have played a significant role with the premiere of a new cycle of conferences, the DBF Junior. A space designed to give a voice to the new generations in the world of ornithology. Undoubtedly, a success that the children’s information program Info-K on Catalan television has reported.m
Major brands and renowned entities were present in the exhibitor fair, with more than 40 exhibitors in optics and photography, ecotourism and nature artists.
