In this new Delta Birding Festival edition, we will have a new collaborator: La Ràpita. La Ràpita, for centuries officially called Sant Carles de la Ràpita, is a municipality in Catalonia located in the region of Montsià.

Thanks to La Ràpita’s sponsorship, during the days 22, 23 and 24 September, we will have a shuttle bus available for all those attending the DBF completely free of charge, which will travel the MónNatura Delta route to Platja del Trabucador. At the entrance to the beach and also with La Ràpita support, you will find a second parking space that can only be occupied once the Poblenou car park is full. Therefore, all attendees with their own vehicle must first use the Poblenou car park, and when it is full, the volunteers will redirect them to the Trabucador.
Both car parks will have surveillance during the most active hours with the aim of making the visit of their attendees to the festival safe. The DBF’s intention by incorporating all these new organizational features is to facilitate transport for everyone and avoid the use of the private car. This DBF, join the use of public transport to continue protecting the Delta and avoid the continuous traffic of vehicles through the natural park!
