The Barcelona’s Zoo supports DBF once again

For the fifth consecutive year, the Barcelona Zoo is involved in the Delta Birding Festival, offering financial support and providing quality content. On the one hand, we will be approached by the exhibition “Extinct in nature: a story of a failure of humanity”, a collection of illustrations by Àlex Mascarell where we can see a collection of species that have managed to avoid extinction thanks to zoos around the world.

On the other hand, and as usual, they sponsor the DBF Birds competition, designed for children. The aim is to identify and discover bird species hidden throughout the DBF site. This year in a revamped version that we hope will entertain future ornithologists visiting us.

Last but not least, the Barcelona Zoo will support this year’s conservation project  “Promoting birds fans at the Daasanach tribe in Africa, by giving them the tools they need“.
