Kiko Arcas is a Galician photographer passionate about birds and a Fujifilm ambassador. He is a scientific bird ringer, collaborates in ornithology courses taught at the University of Vigo and has participated in several scientific works on the species ecology such as the common sandpiper or the red-backed shrike. He is currently a collaborating photographer of the prestigious nature documentary production company IntoTheWildProductions.
This September he will be accompanied by his photography brand Fujifilm, with which he started working three years ago. With his cameras he has won well-known awards in different national and international photography contests. About the Fujifilm equipment, Kiko highlights factors that are fundamental to him and that we will discover by delving into his images during the talk.
His conference will be a look at his work as a bird photographer with over thirty years of experience. We will take a tour inside of his photographs from these recent years where he will explain working techniques and anecdotes.
We will live his experience through photography and discover his journeys through different ecosystems with very variable weather conditions, quite unpredictable moments where a camera has to give the best of itself. A talk where the main protagonist will be birds, and what could be better than enjoying them in a place as unique as the Ebro Delta!
