Wildlife recolonization in an area affected by the Cap de Creus Natural Park forest fire (conference in catalan)

Ponç Feliu is a 16-year-old young boy who is studying the second year of high school. Although he wants to study CAFE (science of physical activity and sport) after high school, he really likes nature and has been learning and traveling the world with my family since he was a child.

During his presentation he will tell us about a study he has worked on for the last two years, analyzing, thanks to photo-trapping cameras, the recolonization of the different wildlife species that were affected by the 2022 fire in the interior of the Natural Park of Cap de Creus. Monitoring has made it possible to see that many species, especially mammals, have remained loyal to the territory despite being devastated by the flames.
