Ismael Domínguez is a young photographer from Ubrique, in the province of Cádiz, who, at just 15 years old, has already accumulated well-known photography awards such as the Young “Bird Photographer of the Year” or the Young 12-14 “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” or the Honorable Mention “Maria Luisa Memorial”.
Ismael has always been passionate about nature but he didn’t start photography until he was 11 years old. His father and his uncle like to photographe nature, and many mornings he saw them get up very early to go out to take pictures, so he decided to start accompanying them. Other factors that have influenced his passion for nature photography are the environment in which he lives: the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park and the Alcornocales Natural Park.
During the presentation, Ismael will tell us about the effort that nature photography requires but also the opportunities that it gives you after improving every day. He will also talk to us about the challenges, such as different weather conditions, waking up early or not always getting what one is looking for. In this talk we will learn about photography from the hide, from the car and live, as well as the species that Ismael has come to know and the techniques with which he feels most comfortable when photographing.
